Vanishing Point (Episode 23) |
Dutch McKenna was a minor character who appeared in the episode Vanishing Point.
Dutch McKenna was the owner of Mckenna Flats and McKenna Airfield. He was an associate of Matt Trakker, who was the principal investor in 'project Hermes', a special airforce jet. When a ten ton cargo plane disappeared just as it was planning to land at McKenna Airfield, Dutch became quite nervous and informed Matt.
Trakker, his son Scott and their robot T-Bob visited McKenna flats in the past, when it was populated by factory workers, at least one of whom was a cowboy who taught Scott to ride his horse. At the time of Project Hermes, however, the factory had closed and almost everybody moved out. Matt Trakker expected it to be a ghost town by now, but instead the little town was bussier than ever. A local storekeeper invformed Trakker that a new company called Caljips Jipson was building a plant nearby and their orders kept McKenna Flats thriving.
The next day, the jet was scheduled to be unveiled before the army bras and again, it failed to materialize. Dutch was afraid of this and was afraid he was going to be sick when his fears were proven to be correct. By this time M.A.S.K. was investigating the mysterious disappearances. They discovered that the criminal originasation V.E.N.O.M. had constructed a fake landing strip and had lured both planes to this location. In the end, M.A.S.K. managed to retrieve both planes from V.E.N.O.M.
