Gretta Linquist is a minor character who appeared in the episode The Lost Fleet.
Gretta Linquist lived in Reykjavík, Iceland with her husband Tavi. Tavi had an important position in a power plant that harnessed geothermal energy while Gretta enjoyed cooking and wearing traditional clothing. It is possible she ran a small restaurant from her home where she made dishes such as her 'Leif Eriksson special'.
Matt Trakker was a member of the advisary board and he stayed with Tavi and Gretta together with his son Scott, their robot T-Bob and their friend Bruce Sato. Gretta spoiled their American guests with homemade cooking, while Tavi had to leave them and check in at the plant.
A series of strange occurrences began to happen in and around Reykjavik. First, all the sails of all the ships were stolen, and the three sailmakers disappeared. Then, a large earthquake struck the town. Gretta found herself falling into her basement, while Scott and T-Bob were almost swallowed up by the ground in front of the Linquist's house. Gretta was very releaved to find them unharmed after agents of M.A.S.K. helped to get them out their predicament.
M.A.S.K. managed to defeat V.E.N.O.M. and recover the lost viking fleet burried deep beneath the town. The American visitors said their goodbye to the Linquests. Gretta invited Scott and the others to return the following year, when the Viking treasure would be out of the mud and on display. She also presented Scott with a special momento of the trip: a box filled with jars of pickled herring.
