Gate of Darkness (episode 63)

Mr. Subas is a minor character who appeared in the episode Gate of Darkness.

Mr. Subas was an Indian gentleman who did business with Matt Trakker. Trakker and Bruce Sato introduced Subas to a new tractor with which he was able to know his soil composition and seed distribution with the touch of a button. Sato added that without guess work, he would have a good crop yield every season. Subas thanked Trakker on behalf of the Indian people and said many empty stomachs would now be filled. For that reason, Trakker called the tractor the "Horn of Plenty."

When Scott Trakker, T-Bob and Alex Sector arrived in Rhino telling a strange tale of a floating flute and an escaped King Cobra, Trakker felt he had to investigate the matter and asked Mr. Subas to help him gather information, mostly by acting as a translator.

Subas relayed the story of the fakir who had lost his snake, relating it to the legendary Gate of Darkness, the ancient memorial dedicated to the kings of old. Subas told the American visitors about the priceless ivory thorne that was said to be kept at this place. Then the Americans proceeded with their investigation without the aid of Subas.
