S.S. Wilson is a writer of cult and mainstream science fiction. He wrote the MASK episodes The Roteks (episode), Venice Menace, and possibly others.
Writing[]
Wilson's best-known work is likely the Tremors film (and later television) series, which he created with writing partner Brent Maddock. Wilson also worked as a producer on the films, and directed Tremors 2: Aftershocks and Tremors 4: The Legend Begins.
Before the Tremors series, Wilson & Maddock made their mark on Hollywood with their script for Short Circuit. The success of the film led to a sequel, Short Circuit 2, and they also worked on *batteries not included for Steven Spielberg.
Other films written by Wilson & Maddock include Ghost Dad and Heart and Souls. They were two of the credited writers for the film adaptation of Wild Wild West, starring Will Smith.
Awards[]
Wilson & Maddock were nominated for a Saturn Award for their screenplay for Heart and Souls, and won a Razzie for their work on Wild Wild West.
