- Rhino is shown during the agent selection and gets a brief mention from the MASK Computer, but Alex Sector joins Hondo and Matt Trakker in Thunderhawk's backseat instead.
- Matt Trakker is unconscious on a conveyor belt, just like in episode 36, The Lippizaner Mystery.
- This is the third out of four Season One episodes, besides A Matter Of Gravity, The Spectre of Captain Kidd, and Stone Trees in which VENOM agent Sly Rax doesn't appear.

- As Hondo MacLean is pushing the button to stop the conveyor belt, at one point an error in the animation layers makes it appear as if there is another button beneath the one being pressed.
- When Julio Lopez says, "Time to practice your maneuvers, VENOM" as he pilots Dragonfly, there is a noticeable jump-cut in the scrolling background plate.
- The tops of the trees change as they scroll into view when Floyd Malloy is trying to walk on air after losing Vampire.
- When Julio Lopez says that the Hawaiian people will be glad to know that the relics are safe, Matt says “Wait just a minute Alex, this cape is a fake.” but it was Julio who said that, not Alex.
